Howdy from OTC!

Hey all you groovy babes! It's about time we give a shout out to our lovely customers & tell ya'll a little bit about ourselves while we're at it! 

Out of the Closet, better known by some of you as OTC Vintage, has a lot in common with our gorgeous garments. Both are older than dirt... well maybe not older than dirt, but older than most of you ;) OTC has been floating around Brunswick Street as a retailer of vintage clothing since the late 80s and is one of Melbourne's original vintage stores that's still kickin' to this very day!

As vintage enthusiasts, all our product is hand-picked with love and care from overseas (across Europe & America), and our job is to revitalise these pre-loved items, and find new homes for them!

For all you music lovers, we also sell vinyl records in our city store on Flinders Street. Here at Out of the Closet, we believe that vintage clothing goes hand in hand with stellar tunes! Our shops are covered wall to wall with music posters that've been collected for decades and create a funky atmosphere that our customers and curious travellers really dig. This intertwined passion for vintage and music leads us to our *fun fact* of the day...

FUN FACT: In the past 28 years of OTC history, many a musician has graced our store floors. We've seen the likes of Santana, Liam Gallagher of Oasis, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, and comedian Noel Fielding (okay, you caught us, not a musician, but still rad).
